Stephanie Powers attended DePaul University and graduated with a major in Communications. Moving to Chicago she worked for 1o years as an Event Manager at the highly acclaimed Merchandise Mark and planned trade shows, charity galas, fashion shows in Chicago, Los Angeles and in New York. While in Chicago she also did event consulting and owned a retail boutique for two years.

After 15 years in Chicago, she recently moved back to Peoria to be closer to her family. She enjoys spending time outdoors, especially on the water (preferably on a boat), antiquing, interior design, entertaining and spending time with family and friends.
